Is my donation tax-deductible?
No. X Codec Pack is an independent project and not a registered nonprofit, so donations are not tax-deductible. We treat every contribution as a personal gift to keep the project running.
Do donors get anything in return?
Our heartfelt thanks - and the satisfaction of keeping a 20-year-old free Windows project alive. We do not sell premium versions, ad-free builds, or "supporter-only" features. Every release stays free for everyone, forever.
Why crypto donations?
Many of our users are in regions where international card payments or PayPal are inconvenient or impossible. Crypto solves that with no middlemen, no chargebacks, and far lower fees than legacy payment processors - especially for small amounts.
